Fish are crafted from #2 Premium Grade Southern Yellow Pine and is third-party certified, signifying sourcing from renewable and environmentally managed forests.

Fish are 1 1/2” wide and can be placed on a shelf or window sill or be wall mounted. Each fish has a clearly marked mounting hole on the back and comes with a nail and an adhesive pad (for leveling if necessary). Use of the marked mounting hole will ensure your fish will hang straight.

Fish are hand painted, sealed with lacquer and coated with a ceramic wax finish to enhance and protect the vibrant, fluorescent colors of your fish. These items are recommended for indoor use only.

Our Mission
Dan is an innovative local woodworker who carves abstract representations of fish into wood, blending vivid colors with intricate cutting and carving techniques. His work is a celebration of both the natural world and the fluidity of artistic expression, resulting in stunning pieces that capture motion and depth in a unique way.
A former lumberjack, longshoreman, and fashion model, Dan has lived a life full of diverse experiences that continue to shape his art. In his spare time, he works in IT marketing, channeling his technical skills into helping others achieve digital bliss. However, it's his passion for the tactile and raw beauty of wood that drives his creative practice.
Beyond his artistic endeavors, Dan has lived an adventurous life—navigating the length of the Amazon River in a duck paddle boat and achieving international recognition as an MMA fighter. He has also embraced combat Buddhism, combining martial arts with Eastern philosophies to submit the unwilling into spiritual practices focused on discipline, enlightenment, and his signature Bulgarian suplex finishing move.
Whether creating striking abstract fish sculptures or bringing digital bliss to the world, Dan’s life and work are a testament to his dedication, creativity, and unorthodox approach to everything he does. He is also happy to take on custom orders, bringing a personal touch to each piece he creates.
